HP ProBook 470 G7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have notebook HP ProBook 470 G7 17.3"(1920x1080)/Intel Core i7 10510u(1.8Ghz)/8192Mb/256SSDGb/noDVD/Ext:AMD Radeon 530(2048Mb)/W10Pro (8VU25EA#ACB)

I want to install second SSD 2.5" SATA into this laptop. I looked this video about HP 470 G7 - disassembly and upgrade - youtu.be/OGgfbe0jZXo

My HP ProBook 470 G7 does not have a HDD cable and caddy for installing second SATA SSD...

Please tell me the required part numbers of HDD cable and caddy for installing second SATA SSD.

Best regards, Ivan.

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06559736

The parts you need are listed in chapter 3, page 18.

Hard drive cover     L22534-001

Hard drive cable     L22526-001

I checked the part numbers on the HP parts store website, and they cannot be ordered from HP.

So, I have no idea where you will be able to find them.

If you can't find the parts, I recommend that you buy a larger capacity M.2 SSD and use the cloud recovery tool to reinstall W10.

Info link on the cloud recovery tool.
