Product: HP ProBook 640 G2 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My fully up to date HP ProBook 640 G2 seems to have problems with the NXP Smartcard reader working. It shows up fine in Windows Device Manager but I cant get it to work. Under wireless devices (when I switch Flight/Airplace Mode on or off), NFC is NOT one of the listed devices (only my Mobile/Cellular WWAN, WLAN, Bluetooth and GNSS). When I put a smart card on the antenna area (as shown in the manual), nothing happens. Any idea whats going on please? None of HPs Diagnostic Apps seems to recognise it but here is what Device Manager Shows:
General Tab claims This device is working properly
