Product: HP ProBook 6550b
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, i installed Windows 10 on my old HP ProBook 6550b and now my bluetooth doesn't work. Looks like it's completely missing. I saw another topic about the same problem, and it was fixed by reinstalling windows 7 and enabling the bluetooth through that. My problem is that you can't install windows 7 anymore, so what can i do in order to get it working again? Or is there another way to install windows 7?

Hi:

 

You can also get around that problem by making a bootable Ubuntu installer.

 

Boot from the installer and select the option to 'Try Ubuntu without installing.'

 

Turn on the Bluetooth in Ubuntu.

 

Shut down the PC, remove the bootable Ubuntu installer and when you get back into Windows, the BT should be present and working.
