Hi,
Have an intermittent problem with keyboard not working, tried all the usual diagnostic stuff, all drivers and windows updates, remove reinstall keyboard driver, reboot, sometimes keyboard works sometimes it doesn't. In the diagnostic it reports every key as working find (green), then sometimes when I boot and go to diagnostics no keys are working. Is there a problem with driver loading or a conflict? Checked RAM also no problems reported, its rare that it works sometimes and other times it takes a reboot, using Win 11 Pro 64bit with 8gig of Ram..
Help appreciated, thanks...

Hello.
There's really no keyboard drivers or firmware to update.
Intermittent operation could be caused by the keyboard being faulty, or the keyboard cable not seated properly. Reseating the cable would be the very first thing to check.
6560b has a handy Maintenance and Service Guide. Keyboard replacement is not particularly difficult and can be done at home if you feel up to it. Tip: the keyboard may appear stuck on the chassis when you need to lift it up, possibly requiring extra force and faith. There's plenty of Youtube videos showing keyboard removal in 6560b.
If the keyboard still intermittently stops working, I would replace the keyboard next. The MSG has spare part number, which is also printed in a sticker attached under the keyboard. Replacement keyboard are sold online, or you can order one through a local HP service partner. Be careful selecting the correct country code (-xxx) to get the keyboard in correct language.
