My laptop automatically update bios ver s71 01.10.00  at 10/30/2021.

From that day, my laptop randomly freeze, at least 1 time per day.

Please help me fix it. Thanks so much.

Hi Lie

I can't find that app on my laptop. On my laptop only install 2 HP's app :  "Hp system information" and "HP audio control". Should I uninstall it ?

When that happens, I recommend one update to the latest BIOS and try again.

Another idea is to create a bootable USB key with a Linus runtime distribution (I use MINT), then boot from that and see how the hardware functions, play a long Youtube file or enable auto play.

Finally, run hardware tests to rule out other problems.

Oh, I forgot to mention....

Before I give a client any laptop, I usually blow away anything from the factory and do a clean install without any HP crapware.

Then I clean up the Microsoft crapware (XBox, Groove, Spotify, Disney anything, etc.)  That way I know I have a stable image and then I back it up as client often install junk that destabilized the system.

If they complain, I restore my factory image and tell them next time they will be a big invoice from me to fix it again:)
