HP Recommended

No HDMI and DP video output through this dock/hub. And no power through this dock/hub.

HP ProBook 455 G8 Notebook PC (46W63AV), Windows 11 22H2
HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub (50H55AA)

All updated to the latest version OS and BIOS (BIOS T78 Ver. 01.14.00).

Other ports in the dock/hub work without a problem, mouse, keyboard, LAN.

The HDMI output directly from the laptop works fine.

The problem is with all three 455 G8 laptops I have here.

The dock/hub with different notebooks (e.g. Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G2 ARE) works OK, HDMI and power is functional.

Maybe you can try to install displaylink driver.

Unfortunately, installing the displaylink driver did not help. I tried another USB-C dock/hub (itec), the behavior is the same, no video output on HDMI, or the monitor detects some signal but only shows a black screen.

Sorry, I don't have same USB-C Hub. 

I got other usb-c hub( and tried it on my 455 G8. HDMI works. 

Did you find any yellow bang mark in device manager when this problem occurred?
