HP Probook beeps with new RAM

I am trying to upgrade to16GB Ram. I removed the 8GB that was in the machine, and replaced it with the new 16GB RAM, but get two long beeps and two short beeps when booting.

New RAM is Samsung/SK Hynix 16GB 2Rx8 PC4-2400T-SE1-11
HMA82GS6AFR8N-UH N0 AC 1740

Is this RAM compatible? Or is the RAM maybe faulty? Do I need to do anything in the BIOS or is it plug and play?

Also as a second Question, is it possible to add the 16GB mentioned above to the existing 8GB Ram as the specs don't seem to list this as a possible configuration? 
(NB: The above beep issue happens with ONLY the 16GB in place - not both)

32 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (16 GB x 2)

16 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (16 GB x 1)

16 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (8 GB x 2)

12 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (8 GB x 1 and 4 GB x 1)

Looks like new RAM is NOT compatible with your machine. Why not use same brand and characteristics of the existing RAM or

Thank you so much for your reply.

I did some more research, and found another RAM that seems compatible.
I am sure the RAM they sent me from Takalot was faulty (I ordered Samsung, they sent SK Hynix, and it was not in original packaging)

Thanks for the link you supplied for the Crucial - but that was 32GB (2 x 16GB set) however I did find one that Crucial says is compatible: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp-compaq/probook-450-g6

Also found this same RAM on Takealot, and in one of the reviews a guy actual said he installed it on Probook 450 G6 WITH the existing 8GB RAM and works fine (With 24GB)
