Hi:
Yes, it can be upgraded from 1.2 to 2.0, but if you are wanting to do this because of meeting the W11 hardware requirements, your PC's processor is also not supported. Needs to be an Intel 8th gen core processor.
See the link below for how to upgrade the TPM 1.2 device to v2.0.
If you want to run W11 on your PC, you will need to use one of the W11 hardware check bypass methods so you can upgrade to W11.
I found this method to be the easiest way to do that...
