Hi,
I recently plugged a USB-C charging cable into the USB-C port on the dock that also delivers display output, as shown in the attached photo.
At that moment I plugged the charging cable in, the dock stopped working. It no longer delivers power to the notebook and is no longer working as a dock at all. The USB ports still deliver power to connected devices but that's it. The power light on the dock is not illuminated.
I have tried unplugging the dock for a few minutes. I have tried rebooting the computer and I've tried pressing the button on the top of the dock and also pressing and holding the button on the dock for various periods, 15 seconds, 30 seconds. Nothing seems to work.
The dock appears bricked. It was working perfectly before I plugged the cable in. I have previously used the cable with no problems on other USB ports on the dock. I didn't intend to use that specific port, but I was not aware that I could break the dock by doing so.
Is this dock now ruined? Can I recover it somehow with factory reset or TFTP firmware flash or something? How can I get it going again?

What is your computer ? Looks like they are NOT compatible.
Regards.

Thanks for your response Banhein. You may have noticed in my post I mentioned it was working perfectly before I plugged my phone in to charge.
Also, there is 0 volts on the power jack. It's got nothing to do with the notebook.
