Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Thunderbolt Dock G4 Specifications indicate that it can connect up to 4-4kmonitors:

But i am only able to connect up to 3 x 24'  monitors using 2 DisplayPort & 1 HMI port.

When tried to connect up the 4th screen, either using the VGA or the other USB-C port on the thunderbolt dock, it will only display 3 of them, the 4th one cannot be enabled.

In Windows 10 control panel, show this 4th screen as disconnected.

When try to extend this 4th screen, one of the other 3 connected display, will become disconnected.

Can anyone advise whether it is possible to connect 4 monitors, using this docking.

If yes, how the connections should be: 2 DisplayPort + 2 USB C ports?

i have 4- 1080p monitors so they are not even 4k. since the specs shows up to 4-4k i figured that i wouldnt have any problems. i upgraded from the G2.

please help!

No, you may not read the specs properly. It says: can support up to four 4K displays with the host MUST support Thunderbolt™ 3 or Thunderbolt™ 4.

What is your machine ?
