Product: HP EliteBook 840 G6 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Recently I replaced my docking station with a HP Thunderbolt G4 (4J0A2AA). Main reason for choosing this product was that is compatible with my company notebook (EB x360 1040 G8) and my private device (EB 840 G6).

 

As expected, it works fine with the 1040, connecting it to the 840 is not so smooth. When connecting, Windows 11 shows the following error message:

Furthermore, wired network is not connected.

Any ideas how to fix this?
