HP USB-C G5 Essential Dock

I have a HP USB-C G5 Dock- not seeing HDMI OR DP output , also does not appear to charge the laptop ,  USB Devices works and as well as tge ethernet port in the Doc , My Laptop  HP 250 GB notebook PC - product  model  2e9h9ea#abu running  windows 11  22H2 - installed the latest drivers   for the Doc  , power light is on , USB C Device is detected when plugging in  to laptop , however when trying to update the  firmware of the device it is not found .  This is a new device never worked .

You have written that your dock model is the new USB-C G5 Essential dock. I am afraid that it does not support HP 250 G8 notebook.
