Product: HP 17 Touch (AMD) - Windows 11

My HP USB-C Hub G5 is not recognizing my HP Monitors.  Connection is HDMI(Monitor) -> DisplayPort(Hub)  It doesn't even recognize 1 additional HP monitor using HDMI -> HDMI.

What is your machine ? Is it compatible with the HP USB-C G5 dock ? Please use the following way to find out what is your machine:

@banhien, It is an HP Touch 17" with AMD processor.  The model number is 17-cp0006ds

Hello Antony.

 

Your laptop does not support the Displayport Alt Mode function required by the USB-C G5 dock which is why the displays do not work.

 

Your only option is to return and replace the dock with a dock that has support for DisplayLink technology.
