I'm using an Elitebook x360 G7 with a HP USB-C G5 Essential Dock.  I have a LG 34WN750 monitor (connected to dock via HDMI) and 2 x Ilyama PL2390 monitors both connected by DisplayPort.

When I have the LG connected (3440 x 1440) and one of the Ilyama's (1920 x 1080) they both work fine.  As soon as I connect the extra Ilyama, the LG loses all resolution (back down to a stretched 1920 x 1080), the other Ilyama stays on perfect (1920 x 1080) but the additional Ilyama drops down to 620 x 440.  As soon as I disconnect the 3rd monitor everything is fine.

I've updated all drivers and firmware on the dock, but have hit a wall at what else I can try?  Is the laptop/dock struggling because of the large LG monitor?

What is your Elitebook x360 G7  machine ? The dock ONLY supports

Supports 3 x FHD @ 60Hz or 2 x QHD @ 60 Hz or 3 x 4K (requires a DisplayPort 1.4 machine with Display Stream Compression. If the system does not support Display Stream Compression, then the system must support DisplayPort 1.4 with high-res mode enabled in the system).

Can you see where the problem is ? Too much resolution for the dock to handle therefore it has to reduce resolution for the third monitor.

Regards.
