Product: HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub

Hi,

 

I`ve got 2 HP Universal USB-C Multiport hubs, where i would like to update the firmware because we have some issues with networking and display issues.

I download the firmware update tool  here -> https://support.hp.com/au-en/drivers/multiport-hubs/model/2101171617

Unzipped and open the installer, the installer looks like it recognized the dock itself but not the DP controller.

As of that i cant continue with the firmware update.

Tried with 2 dock on 3 different laptops.

HP Recommended

No help needed anymore, solved it by disconnect the HUB between the checking steps. Also when you click on install firmware disconnect dock before that.

I needed to run the firmware update 3 times before all parts where updated
