key is missing its cover, need to arrange a repair, this forum is the only way i appear to be able to contact HP ?

It's a common misconception that our Community is either HP Support or the path to contact HP Support.

What?

The HP Community (user forum) is embedded in the HP website -- scroll to the top of most any page to find HP "Support Resources" .  Select topic / subject or "Contact us".

Select your region and follow the prompts

Reminders - READ

Case submission to HP Support is available to those whose devices registered and are still in Warranty.

 

Some regions display phone / chat contact information only after the case is submitted online

 

Not every issue is covered under the standard Hardware Warranty.  Purchased Care Pack Warranties differ by contract.

HP is not a "general" repair facility: Requests for out-of-warranty repairs are usually not accepted.

If the problem is hardware, if your device is in Warranty, if your device is Registered, and you cannot submit your case to Support, let us know and we will forward a request.

 

Important

HP Phone numbers you find on the Internet have likely been hijacked. Old HP phone numbers – those numbers no longer used by HP since the move to “online” case submissions – might have been taken over by thieves.

Do not be a victim.

Stay vigilant.

I have followed teh guide you posted above and independently, the only "method and contact HP Support" is this forum

OK.  Interesting - the HP web page in your region appears similar but must work differently.

I will send your comment to our Moderator team who can send you an additional link to contact HP Support.

 

True - your Zbook must be in Warranty to submit a warranty repair request to HP Support.

Use your workstation's serial number when submitting your request.
