HP ZBook Firefly 14-inch G9 Mobile Workstation PC poor battery life

Any anyone manage to get even 5-7 hours of battery life on HP ZBook Firefly 14-inch G9 Mobile Workstation PC? 

I closed all unwanted applications and having only Microsoft Word and PowerPoint open in a conference/meeting barely lasted 3 hours. The battery is at full capacity and has only gone 47 cycles out of 1000. 

Any suggestions? 

Do you know, if 6 cells, 76 Whr, 3.53 Ahr M73470-005 would be compatible with my system?

Hello,

You wrote (talk about) conference. Is this a virtual conference where you have apps like MS Teams, WebEx or Zoom ? And you present or watch/participate via the conferencing app ?

It depends but might be normal because these kind of app consume a lot of power, especially if you present, if you use webcamera, if on WLAN/WWAN.

• You should download and run HP Image Assistant >> https://ftp.ext.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HPIA.html

Run it to install/update literally anything and everything HP related such as HP apps, drivers, firmware, SDS/ESU, etc...

• In Windows 11 -> Open Settings, then choose System > Power & battery. Open the Battery usage section, and you can check out stats for the last seven days or the last 24 hours using the drop-down menu just to the right. You can see which app consumes most of your battery and rule it out

Thank you for ur response. I have also contacted HP support but my problem is not solved. I have done the settings, downloaded, and run HP Image Assistant as well. This did not help. See the screenshot below will all the apps closed, except one firefox tab open this is the expected battery life. The battery is not very old and was replaced in March this year.

Even editing max processor state to lower than 100 % on battery does not help.

Now, I am waiting for Hp to tell me if they can help me to get 6-7 hours of battery or else I am moving to Macbook pro.

On the community page, I am wanted to check if someone else had the same issue. I also hope to help someone by making them aware of non-realistic battery life claims/adds.
