Good day. It's impossible for me to know what the issue is exactly, so here are a couple of things you could try:
- Check for any programs that are taking up too much for your laptop's resources. You could do this using Task manager.
- Don't use a too aggressive power plan. You might be using a power plan or performance pre-set that makes the CPU consume a lot of power even when it's not needed. Some laptop's have performance pre-sets and on Windows you've also got power plans which you can change. I recommend using the "Balanced" power plan, which is turned on by default.
- Make sure your laptop's intakes aren't blocked. Generally, the underside of laptop's is used as an air intake. Blocking the air intake would mean that your laptop isn't getting the fresh air it needs for cooling.
- Replace your thermal paste. This is unlikely to help much, considering that your laptop isn't that old. But perhaps it could help a little.
Do keep in mind that your laptop is very thin, which means that it's got less room for cooling and your fans need to ramp up to keep up with the temperatures. I hope this helps a little bit.
