HP Zbook3 laptop stuck in a reboot loop after factory reset. It starts up, shows the HP logo. Then the screen turns black. After a second the HP logo with the text Intro starts again. Then for 0.2 seconds the windows installation screen shows, which is stuck at 64% and then the whole cycle is repeated. I checked if there are any hardware issues, this was not the case. I removed the battery as well, held the power button for 15 seconds, but this didn't resolve the issue.

Hello,
(1) Enter the bios (DEL/ESC/F1/F10) and load the default settings, save and exit.
(2) Your Zbook3 should have a dvd drive, so take a windows (10/11, i don't know what operating system you are using ...) installation dvd to do repair. If you have no windows dvd, download (on a 2nd computer or with the help of a friend) the iso file from the official microsoft site and burn the image.
(3) If the dvd cannot boot, start the dvd from the boot manager (F9) or change the boot priority list in the bios.
(4) Question: What do mean by factory reset ? HP factory reset using reserved partition to get a clean preinstalled operating system including all drivers ?
best regards
