HP elitebook 860 G11: Synaptics FS7604 Touch Fingerprint Sensor with PurePrint driver error Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. code 43

Tried installing SP142187 but that does not solve the problem.

I have had issues with HP FPS, especially after reinstalling the OS.  I usually fix the issue by going into BIOS and under the Security tab check to reset the Finger Print Sensor.  This will clear all previous data and usually allow it to start in Windows.
