Hello,

My name is Tipu, and I am currently using an HP ProBook 650 G4 laptop. I’m facing a critical issue where the laptop automatically shuts down a few moments after powering on. It continues to turn on and off repeatedly, preventing me from performing any tasks.

I have already reinstalled Windows 11, but the problem still persists. I would appreciate your guidance on how to resolve this issue.

Hello.

I can understand laptop turning off randomly or shortly after turning on, but turning on automatically can usually be done only by timers or wake up signal.

Are you certain the laptop isn't just entering power saving mode? When the laptop turns back on, does it show the HP logo and start loading Windows, or are you immediately presented with your Windows desktop or Windows login screen?

Turn the laptop on with power supply connected, and keep tapping ESC key when HP logo is shown. This brings up a boot menu. Do not do anything else, let the laptop wait on the menu screen. Does the laptop still power off and on at random?
