Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I am trying to get the firmware version of my HP USB-C Dock G5 using HPDockWMIProvider.exe  and the query Manageability\HPDockWMIProvider.exe /S /v /qn.

 

When I double click on HPDockWMIProvider.exe, does that install it?   I am just trying to use it to get the firmware version, I don't want it installed.    The technical whitepaper I am using is HP Firmware Installer for Docks.

 

Anybody done this and know how it works to get the firmware version?
