I entered the serial number for an old laptop (ProBook 4540s), but I was informed that it was invalid. So I entered the part #. There was only one offering for BIOS, F.01 from Jul 5, 2012. I know this is stale because the current BIOS on my laptop is version 68. So has HP started deleting old drivers from its website like Intel did after it stopped making motherboards?

I'm finding a BIOS version F.68 from 2019 on the support page...
HP ProBook 4540s Notebook PC Software and Driver Details
Here's the support page link I used to find it:

Thanks, Paul. I kept seeing a page for an energy-saver version of the laptop, like that should make any difference.
BTW, I tried to login for the past few days to answer, but HP kept giving me annoying puzzles to solve. I refuse to deal with nonsense like that.
