Hi,

When i plug in my jabra evolve 80 headset to a new elitebook 840 g8 and connect to a skype meeting (i dont have the ability to test teams a.t.m) the mute and answer buttons wont work. When i plug in my headset to my elitebook 830 g6 and connect to the same meeting the buttons work.

Whats wrong with the G8? I've run HPIA and installed all latest drivers.

What else to do?

Thanks!

Regards

Lager

Hi,

I've tested and have now disabled Intel Smart Sound Technology for USB-Sound to get the Jabra headset to work, as a workaround. Lets hope an updated driver from Intel will fix this.

Hello, an incident has been open with HP since mid-December but we still have no solution. They are still asking us for the serial number of the headphones,... I will let you know if a solution is finally found. Do not hesitate to open incidents with the support it may be able to help us all.

Hi,

I've just opened a case with HP. I will keep you updated.

Hello,

I can confirm that this issue applies to several other brands, not only Jabra.

Our HP Partner confirms this issue, and it has been rasied to higher escalation and Intel is involved.
