Hi all,
I'm having problems with the trackpad in my HP Zbook 14 G2 after a failed firmware update. The touchstyk works perfectly well but the trackpad refuses to work. Before this, it refuses to work many times and restarting does not help. When it didn't work, it didn't even work in the bios (can't use the trackpad in the bios to select options). It also does not work even when tapping the top left area(where you enable or disable the trackpad). I did the power reset trick and it starts working again for a few days but refuses to work after some hours. So then I decided to do the trackpad firmware update for my trackpad. I followed all instructions but at the end, it said that that:
"C:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP\SynReflash.exe" was not found.
So then I decided to download SynReFlash.exe on another site.
Then, the reflash failed and the trackpad is bricked now.
How do I fix this?
