I accidentally dropped my ZBook G5 and the charging cable got bent and now it won’t charge at all. I’m trying to identify if buying a new charger will fix it or I will need a new charging port. I tried using a 45W charger rather than the needed 150W (both chargers output is 19.5V) and with the 45W there was a blinking white light. And I am wondering if the change of charging cable will be enough to fix it (original charger), or does the blinking white light just indicating that the charging is too weak with 45W? Or will I need to buy a new charging port or a new battery?

If the cable is rigid and it got bent, then it sounds like some internal electrical connection got broken in the process, especially since a different, lower power charger, works.
Yeah -- you need one of the same power rating to run the laptop.
