Today couple of HP updates were installed automatically, I was just informed that I should restart the computer - Wolf security and HP Sure Sense.

After a restart, my computer runs with fans full-on (normally they would be very rarely on), and the most CPU intense task in the Task Manager is HP Sure Click Endpoint Service with Power usage: Very high in red color.

What is this service doing (it's going on, doesn't stop)? Why are my fans constantly on? What should I do?

Shortly upon posting this thread, there was ANOTHER Wolf update, and after restarting the computer again, the issue is resolved.

What can I say, I have a very short fuse.
