Hello, my laptop on a ryzen 5700 processor heats up during office work (browser, messengers, email) up to 80 C when the processor is 30-40% loaded, also the temperature does not drop below 40 C (the laptop is on the table, the temperature in the room is about 20 degrees). The strong buzzing of the cooler is especially disturbing. The service center said that 80 C is normal and the working temperature of the processor, according to the specification, can exceed 100 C. Tell me how true this is?

Hello Ub6424! I did as you wrote, installed the drivers, rebooted the system. Below is a screenshot of the sensors with the task manager. As can see, the processor is almost not loaded with anything, but the temperature is quite high.

Hello @mcmax
Thanks for reporting.
Before replacing the thermal paste for CPU and GPU, please follow the instructions below as a workaround ... |
(1) Set "maximum processor percentage" in Windows to 98%
--->>> How to show or hide Minimum and Maximum Processor State in Power Options in Windows 11/10
(2) Enable Ultimate Performance Plan in Windows 11
(3) Reboot Windows
(4) Test your notebook, play some games and monitor temperatures

HI Ub6424 ! Thank you.
Indeed, decreasing the "maximum processor percentage" reduces the temperature of the processor, because the operating frequency decreases. Also, the service center has already changed the thermal paste and the cooler in the laptop, but this did not reduce the heating of the processor.

Hello @mcmax
The please is mine !
Keep an eye on the notebook and HWInfo sensors and report back if you are satisfied with the solution or not.
Kind regards

Hello Ub6424! The fact is that after replacing the thermal paste and cooler (as stated by the service center), the processor heating did not decrease, and when the "processor state" decreases to 99%, the processor frequency decreases and performance drops. I think that the laptop cooling system should be able to cope with the standard processor frequencies.

Hello @mcmax
It is a design-related problem that cannot be solved by spells or software hacks in the long run.
