Is there any way I can fix the keyboard layout on my hp laptop? The return key and the print screen/shift key are not well-placed, so I tend to accidentally hit the shift key when I want to hit return. This happens several times every time I type.
Are there any fixes for this?

Welcome to the HP English Community --
Sorry - No, There is no hardware fix to move keys where you want them.
Built-in Keyboards can generally be replaced with a supported keyboard for your computer.
- The supported replacements are generally not different in terms of the major key placements (for example, the Return key).
- In some cases, a non-Backlit keyboard can be replaced with a Backlit keyboard.
- Keyboard replacement is not, in general, a task for a novice. What? In many cases, the computer components must be disassembled to reach and replace the keyboard.

What else?
-- Keyboards, at least to date, are hardware -- while some keyboards can assign key actions, there is no fix for the actual layout of the key structure, including the Return key placement.
One workaround is to purchase and use a keyboard that you do like.
Wired are fastest - Because the fancy keyboards of this type are frequently geared to Gamers, the haptic feedback is usually nice and some keys can be programmed as you like.
Wireless keyboards are most common -- Logitech sells nice keyboards that include a small replaceable Unifying dongle.
