How can I check the country of origin of my laptop?

One of my local shop members gave me an HP EliteBook 840 G5 laptop, it seems like an old model laptop and I want to know where is the laptop coming from. How can I check this using my product id or something?

Please help me with this.

well almost everything at HP is made in china, if you want to see in where country the laptop was meant to be sold or have been sold in the first place you could see it on the warranty page. you may have the country of sell but that's it, if you want to know previous owner or this kind of information sadly its not something available
