HP Recommended
Product: Zbook G5 Studio 360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Brand new Zbook that I need to connect to CNC machine via serial port.  Software currently says no serial ports detected and nothing shows up re ports in device manager.   How do I configure this laptop to enable/show serial ports?

As so often happens I found the solution after asking.  It was simply a case of loading the correct driver for the CNC controller.  This then dynamically enabled a COM port in W10 which shows up in device manager.
