I have a ZBook 17 G2 laptop. It currently has an Intel AC-7260 WiFi adapter and a Nvidia K5100M GPU installed in it. Due to Wi-Fi disconnecting a lot and a color banding problem while watching videos, I want to replace them with an Intel AC-8265 Wi-Fi adapter and a AMD FirePro W6170M GPU.
What should I do before replacing them? Should I uninstall the current drivers, and then install the new drivers before replacing the parts? Or should I uninstall the current drivers, replace the parts, and then install the new drivers later?
Do I even need to uninstall the current drivers?

Hi forumreader.
I see you've already gotten advice on the wlan upgrade by @Paul_Tikkanen EXPERT Level 21 and on the MXM 3.0b upgrade by @Huffer EXPERT Level 18. I would have to say that drivers will be the least of your problems. What's important is the hardware. And by that I mean actually getting the new hardware installed, heatsinks for the GPU, and above all a good compatibility with the UEFI firmware. If all the above are up to spec, then for drivers you should follow the last option you posted. Uninstall-upgrade-install. Theoretically this is the proper way to do it. But this is really not that important.
Let us know how this goes! Good luck!!
