Hi everyone!!
I have a HP Pavilion 15 eg-0000 and I just have two questions
1. is it possible for my laptop to have static build up?
My laptop has an aluminum body and every night I place a folded up piece of cloth on top, covering my laptop when its closed shut to protect from dust or debris.
I also place cloth handkerchiefs under my palms when im typing on the laptop keyboard to stop the sweat from my palm potentially touching the laptop, and the handkerchiefs may rub against the aluminum body as i type.
Do you think with what I said above that my laptop may have static build up? Because recently I noticed that the battery drains pretty quickly and sometimes my laptop is a little slow and freezes. It doesnt freeze frequently but its somewhat noticeable when it freezes again.
2. how do I drain any potential static build up from my laptop?
My laptop is a HP Pavilion 15 eg-0000 and it doesnt have a removable battery. How do I drain any potential static from my laptop?
Thank you so much to everyone who read this and was able to help me out!!
Im not very laptop savvy but I really appreciate any help I can get!

Please do NOT use cloth to cover it. You can discharge yourself before touch to your machine. I myself have very strong built-in static even get a zap when opening my car in the morning specially during Winter. I had to wear an anti static wrist strap when work. In your case you can use Anti Static Spray for example
