How much I can upgrade RAM in my hp laptop, I have already 4GB RAM, but I want to install 8GB RAM in other second slot, can I install this extra 8GB RAM. My laptop is core i5 8th generation intel processor.

Hi:
Yes, you can install 2 x 8 GB of memory in your notebook according to the service manual.

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info...
Unofficially, you could install 2 x 16 GB of memory in there if you wanted to since it has an Intel 8th gen core processor.
