How can I designate a keyboard (creating a shortcut) to enter the current time of the device into an Excel spreadsheet, or cell?

Meaning that each time I press that shortcut in a cell, the actual time in hours and minutes, (called the timestamp) will be entered.

Can it be done on my HP EliteBook G9 Notebook?
