@Abel2104

Thank you for reaching out!

We understand that the Wi-Fi on your HP ProBook 650 G1 is not working as expected. This issue is usually related to driver or network settings. Please try the steps below:

  • Restart the laptop and modem/router
    Sometimes a simple restart restores network functions.

  • Check if Wi-Fi is turned on

    • Press Fn + F12 (or just F12 on some models) to toggle the wireless function.

    • Ensure the wireless indicator light is white (not amber).

  • Update or reinstall the Wi-Fi drivers

    • Go to Device Manager > Network adapters.

    • Right-click your wireless adapter → Update driver.

    • If the driver is missing or shows a warning symbol, uninstall it and restart the laptop.
      Windows will reinstall it automatically.

  • Run Windows Network Troubleshooter

    • Go to Settings > Network & Internet.

    • Click Troubleshoot and follow the on-screen instructions.

  • Reset Network Settings

    • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.

    • Select Network reset and restart your laptop.

Please update us if this works for you.
