Hi Community, I have an HP Elitebook 840 G8 i5, it was was working fine until a few days ago when it could not power up. I opened it, disconnected the battery, bios battery, swapped the Memory and fired up well, I did a system a Bios upgrade and a system upgrade and  it worked all the way until I shut  it down.

It would not power up again the next morning. I did the same routine and it powered again, for 3 days now I have to go through the same routine after shutting down in the Laptop in the evening. I have to open it disconnect all peripherals give it a couple of minutes then connect again before it powers.

I don’t think it’s an issue of Bios nor hardware coz after going through that routine, the rest works perfect, like normal operations, ports etc etc.

I would appreciate any help from the forum for remedy

Many thanks,

ssek
