There is a problem with my hp pavilion 15 eg2039tu. Once is power on laptop shows hp logo and after that blue screen shows and system restart. To troubleshoot i remove battery and power on my laptop. Lucky me laptop starts and windows uploaded however laptop is very very slow. Even keyboard hangs during typing. Upon checking i notice there was soldering on bios chip. Seems some one remove and rewrite bios. I tried all version of bios for online upgrade but still laptop performs same way. Please support to resolve this issue. Thanks

Hello.
The CPU performance is very poor, I agree. Even the cheapest current processors are much faster than what your images show. Either your CPU is temperature/power constrained, or the BIOS is setting some extremely low power settings. Intel XTU or Throttlestop could be used to show what the power limits are and if you are hitting a temperature or power ceiling, and with them you can also set your own power limits (PL1 + PL2).
If you have the laptop opened, check that the CPU actually is 1260P and not something else since this case has marks of foul play. Your BIOS chip looks like it is soldered by hand which is not done by any manufacturer. Also check that the fans work and the cooling system heat exchange part on the CPU is actually having a good contact.
Nevertheless, all your symptoms still stem from hardware problems and I highly recommend contacting HP service to check it out.

Hello.
Try running all diagnostics for your laptop first. Start computer and keep hitting ESC key when HP logo is shown. Select Diagnostics from the menu.
If you really think that someone has tampered with your laptop I recommend taking it to a local HP service place and have them confirm it. Or upload a picture and let us have a look.
Blue Screen is a Windows feature. Nirsoft Blue Screen View is a software that can be used for deciphering the possible cause of the BSOD, but using it requires somewhat advanced knowledge in IT.
Problem may be on hardware or software (Windows/driver/other software). If you can replace the storage drive temporarily with another one and install Windows there, you could possiblly rule out either. If Windows on the other drive works fine, then your original Windows - or the storage drive - is at fault.

Hi,
The log shows that Video component failed. There are a couple Video component tests in the UEFI diags, please run them as well for more detailed information. I also recommend updating the UEFI diagnostics to latest version (10.3.0.0) which may have better tests. (Direct download link here. Just run the package and it will install over the old version.)
The log also shows that your laptop cannot keep time, perhaps defaulting back to 2022-01-01 00:00 when you disconnect power source and turn the computer off? This sounds like a faulty battery on the system board - normally it should last for many years, over a decade even, before replacement is required. It is a CR button cell battery (probably CR2032), but I cannot confirm this since your laptop support page @hp website points to incorrect Maintenance And Service Guide.
If your problem is easily repetable can you next time - before the blue screen - enter the laptop BIOS and check whether the date and time have been reset. The battery is a very cheap part but your laptop may require some disassembly before you can locate it somewhere on the system board.
Can you provide the Part Number of your laptop? Your laptop model is 15-EG2039tu, but the Part Number is shown in the HP System Information panel which you can invoke with Fn+Esc key combination, or running msinfo32.exe - the P/N is listed in the System SKU row. The faults (re-soldered BIOS? and battery failure?) could be explained if this is a reburbished laptop.

Hello.
Looks like you can only attach images in this forum...
The lack of serial number and other ID information really indicate that your laptop has hardware fault(s). Either the system board was replaced incorrectly without entering all the identification strings, or it has produced a fault.
In either case this is something that cannot really be further troubleshot in this forum. Your laptop requires servicing, I'm afraid.

Hi, bench
Thank you for your response.
Thanks to hp for mentioning s.no and product no on back of laptop.
I configure bios with both details. now bios shows s.no and product no. as shown in pics.
CPU bench is very low. as sown in pics.
