Hello
is your problem at Windows login ?
Sure Start has nothing to do with Windows login.
May be you are referring to HP Client Security Manager or do you have configured Microsoft Windows Hello ?
Did you have encrypted the SSD with bitlocker ?
bye

hp support london told me that the drivers of my fingerprint sensor has run out of date
Now, i am trying to install a new version through the hp client recovery. But I cannot enter the bios to change the booting to usb-drive. The key combination does not work and it always ends with the hp sure start fingerprint window.

Hi Harald3,
I cannot access windows because hp sure start does neither accepts my fingerprint nor my password any longer
Like my friend TryToDoMybest informed Sure Start has nothing to do with Windows login.
Since you have mentioned when you try to boot into BIOS it always ends with the hp sure start fingerprint window.
Turn on or restart the computer.
Press F10 to enter the BIOS Setup.
Make the BIOS settings changes needed (other than enabling Settings Protection).
Press F10 to save the changes and exit the BIOS.
Select Yes to save changes to exit the BIOS.
Press F10 to enter the BIOS again.
Select the Security tab .
Select (Disable) Sure Start BIOS Settings Protection.
Press F10 to Save and Exit the BIOS.
Select Yes to save changes and exit the BIOS.
Could you let me know what happens when this has been performed.
