HP ProBook 450 15.6 inch G10 Notebook PC (71H55AV)

Hey 

i am asking about warranty i bough probook at 9/5/2024 and the warrantly start date is 9/5/2024

but when i reprachase another new laptop at 22/5/2024 i entered hp site and get the start date of warranty at 31/1/2024

so how was that !! is it my new lap is opened before ? !

Hello.

 

Your laptop was probably manufactured back in 2023 already and waited on the shelf for you to buy it. HP has at some point communicated that the default warranty date is formed from the date of manufacturing + 3 months. (for logistics, stocking etc). HP resellers do not necessarily enter the date anywhere unless a carepack (extended warranty) is also bought along with it.

 

What you need to do is to dispute the warranty per HP's own advisory to change the date. No biggie.
