HP EliteBook 840 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm having problems with my HP EliteBook 840 G1 computer at startup. The problem occurs when it is at the dock station. It always turns on PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI and reports an error on the hard disk, even though there is no error. I have a solid state drive installed. A black screen appears. When I click EXIT, Windows 10 loads normally. This only happens if the computer is at the dock station.

How do I fix this or turn off checks.

Try to update the drivers & firmware to the latest known version via the HP Support Assistant from here.
