HP ProBook 645 G2 Base Model Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a

HP ProBook 645 G2 Base Model Notebook PC

I was resizing my partations and mistakenly changed my C drive as active partition. Now I can't boot my windows.

I tried several option but can not enter the bios without bios password. booting from an usb is also not possible.

I have googled the problem and found that i need a SMC.bin file. Is their an other way like can't I just type in a default admin bios password?

Hi:

You will have to contact HP technical support for assistance with obtaining a SMC.bin file for your PC.

https://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

Worldwide business PC phone numbers...

You can see if the phone number listed for your country is still valid to call them.

That is your only option.

HP Probook and Elitebook notebooks do not generate any system disabled codes to generate an unlock code for.

Or you can replace the motherboard with one that doesn't have a BIOS P/W on it.
