cleaned up the formating a bit...sorry for the double post
Hello...I hope you can help with a strange issue
HP ZBook Firefly 15.6 inch G8 Mobile Workstation PC (1G3U9AV) started giving an Erorr "0xA00f4244 NoCamerasAreAttached"
- I did the usual, ran HP updates, manually went for the driver and still no luck. (HP BIOS and System Firmware (T37/T39/T76) 01.14.00 Rev.A- Aug 4, 2023)
- I checked Device Manager and the Camera is not listed.
- Ran HP's image assistant and under Bios and Firmware - Bios configuration it showed the following as missing
Name Path Value
-Automatic Keyboard Backlit \Advanced\Built in Device Enable
-Force enable HP Sure View \Advanced\Built in Device Disable
-LAN / WWAN Auto Switching \Advanced\Built in Device Disable
-Mobile Network Device (WWAN) and GPS Combo Device \Advanced\Built in Device Enable
-Integrated Camera Advanced\Built-In Device Options Enable
I looked in the BIOS >Advanced>Built-in Device Options> - Integrated Camara is NOT an option listed
in the bios it goes
Backlit keyboard timeout
Fingerprint reader
on my other HP ZBook Firefly 15.6 inch G8 Mobile it goes
Backlit keyboard timeout
Integrated Camera
Fingerprint reader
any thoughts?
