HP ProBook 430 G8 Notebook PC (2V656AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP ProBook 430 G8 has i5-1135G7. It comes with Intel Iris Xe Graphics. As what I've seen from online, Iris Xe only works with dual channel memory configuration. 430 G8 is single channel 8GB RAM. But other people show device manager etc. and it is always UHD Graphics. I'm having a different case, EVERYTHING except Intel Graphics Command Center says Iris Xe. Graphics Command Center says it is UHD Graphics.

Now, is it Xe or UHD?

Hello,

i5 CPUs comes with Iris Xe graphics -> https://support.hp.com/bg-en/document/c06955073#AbT4

What you describe is a known issue (bug) in the intel apps >> https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000059744/graphics.html

Make sure all your drivers and BIOS are up-to-date. Install HP Image Assistant and update *all drivers, including Intel ones >> https://ftp.ext.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HPIA.html

Make sure your Intel app is up-to-date. Check the MS Store about that
