HP Elite x360 1030 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have my latop plugged into the Thunderbolt dock for most of the day so I can use my bigger monitor, keyboard, speakers, etc. The battery icon on the tool bar says '100% Fully Charged', and I'm concerned that the docking station is still charging and cooking the battery (especially because the underside of the laptop is pretty hot. Is it advisable to only dock the laptop when strictly necessary, or is there something which stops it from cooking the battery?

Hello

if you update the BIOS of your X360 1030 G2 , in the BIOS setting you find a parameter that helps to increment the battery life.

bye
