HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi guys,

I am having an issue with the docking stations since some days now. We are using HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G2 with HP EliteBook 840 G6. Whenever the users connect their laptop in the morning and try to login to their systems windows explorer will stuck and users will not be able to click on it. They cannot click on any icons. Until now we checked and e found that almost all machines are running with 21H1 OS build of Windows 10 X64.

The workaround we found that resolves the issue is, removing the thunderbolt cable from the laptop and plugging it back.

Anyone else had this issue before?

Thank you for the support,

Ermal

Hello

never heard a behavior like this.

do they use USB keyboard and mouse to login?

did you updated 840 G6 BIOS to latest  version ?

did you updated TBDock G2 firmware to latest version ?

bye

All the driver updates are there. BIOS, Docking Station firmware. Yes they use USB mouse and keyboard.
