Subject: Issue with HP Thunderbolt Dock G4 – Intermittent Display Fluttering on HP Zbook Fury 16 G10
Dear HP Support Team,
I am experiencing an intermittent issue with my HP Thunderbolt Dock G4, which I am using with my HP Zbook Fury 16 G10 Mobile Workstation. The problem manifests as significant display fluttering, which can last for up to !!!!5 seconds!!!!. This issue occurs on all three external displays, as well as the built-in display of my Zbook. The fluttering makes the setup completely unusable.
The issue first occurred immediately after I connected the Thunderbolt Dock. While restarting the devices or unplugging and re-plugging the dock temporarily resolves the problem, the issue reappears intermittently, which disrupts my workflow.
Here are the troubleshooting steps I have already attempted:
- I have restarted the devices multiple times.
- All drivers are fully up to date.
- I have confirmed that no error messages or warnings appear during the issue.
- I am running Windows 11.
Since the fluttering occurs on all displays (the built-in and three external ones), it suggests that the issue may be related to the Thunderbolt Dock or its connection to the system.
Could you please assist me in diagnosing and resolving this issue? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or further troubleshooting steps.
Thank you for your support.
Best regards,
Daniel

Use HP Image Assistant and confirm BIOS and drivers on the Fury G10 are up to date, as well as the TB Dock firmware. I have the same model and dock with 2 displays and do not exhibit any problems with flickering
