Product: HP ZBook Studio 15.6 inch G8 Mobile Workstation PC (30M98AV)

This is driving me nuts. I want a way to select the backlight on my keyboard - i had green blue which is ok or white, but I cannot get it to stay stuck. IS there a way to use linux commands to set them on startup on this platform? This is Linux Mint  22
