I have a ZBook Fury G8 with Dual Boot Windows 10 and Windows 11. I have checked the BIOS setting, where the timeout is set to 30s. This works as intended in Windows 10, the keyboard backlight stays on as long as I type and after 30s of inactivity it turns off. However, in Windows 11 I can cycle through the three different modes (full brightness, reduced brightness, off) and immediatley after like half a second the backlight turns off again. Also, it doesn't turn on while typing, only when I cycle through the modes by pressing Fn + F9. Anyone knows what I can do so it stays on? I have tried already: updating drivers, changing all sort of Windows settings (I thought maybe it's related to power saving mode or something like that), changing BIOS settings. The changes in BIOS are always correctly reflected in Windows 10, but the issue persists in Windows 11.
