Product: HP EliteBook 830 G6 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello,
I recently bought from an old stock an HP Elitebook 830 G6. It comes with a backlight keyboard which won't turn off. In BIOS I set the timeout to 15 seconds and if I press Fn+F9 which has the backlight sign on it, I can only control the brightness. I can dim the backlight and make it brighter but I cannot completely turn it off. I tried to use my notebook in a bright room, tried on battery and on AC, left it without touching it for hours but the keyboard backlight keep stays on.
I even uninstalled the keyboard driver and update-it through HP Support Assistant app, still no luck.
Can someone help me please?
